Mark kearney, dean of medicine, in sustainability garden.

Welcome from Professor Mark Kearney

Our schools are consistently highly ranked, nationally and internationally, and have maintained a global reputation for academic excellence, world-class research and technology-enhanced learning. Our acclaimed strength in both teaching and research attracts the best clinicians and academics to work with us.

We push the boundaries of fundamental science underpinning health, development and disease of humans, animals, plants and microbes. We apply these discoveries to global challenges including sustainable agriculture and ecosystems, healthy ageing and the prevention and treatment of infectious and non-infectious disease, as part of a collective effort to inspire the next generation and build global resilience for the future.

Professor Mark Kearney, Pro-Vice Chancellor - Faculty of Health and Life Sciences
