Profile

I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Information Technology Management in 2016 and my Master of Science in Analytics in 2017. After finishing my master’s degree, I worked across industries, as an Operations Reserach Analyst at a US FFRDC and as a data scientist for a small healthcare fintech startup. I found my passion for public health and epidemiology through this work and joined a US government contracting agency as a data scientist in 2020.

I began my time supporting the CDC National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) in March, 2020. My first day of work coincided with the WHO declaring COVID-19 a global pandemic, and I began my public health career deployed on the COVID-19 pandemic task force. Through this work, I saw real-time how public health efforts can save lives in emergency scenarios, and this inspired me to pursue formal education in epidemiology. I transitioned to a different role in Leidos from October 2022 – September 2025, supporting the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Readiness (ASPR) Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) as a Senior Quantitive Analyst and Modeler / Applied Biostatistician. This role required providing statistical, analytical, and epidemiological support to a variety of preparedness efforts.

I joined the Academic Unit of Health Economics in the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Institute of Health Sciences in September 2025. AUHE is one of six divisions within LIHS, which brings together a multidisciplinary team of over 175 staff delivering applied health and care research and student education. Within AUHE, we engage with policy makers, clinicians, clinical scientists, basic scientists, patient groups and other applied health researchers. Our research is multidisciplinary and based on strong collaborations across ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ, other UK institutions, and internationally. Follow AUHE on for more updates.

I am supporting the NIHR-funded ENQUIRE project as a research fellow under the guidance of Dr. Katie Spencer. I have an interest in using my data science and statistical modelling experience to support health economic activities addressing the deprivation gap in cancer survival. In addition to my research activities, I am an active member of the research group and support teaching of MBChB students through the ENQUIRE track.
