Welcome to the Dual Enrollment Program

ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ has partnered with the following school districts to offer qualified high school students the opportunity to earn college credit for dual enrollment courses successfully completed at their respective high school or online as taught by Cal State East Bay faculty:

Hayward Unified School District

New Haven Unified School District

San Leandro Unified School District

ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ offers dual enrollment courses in a variety of subjects.  Our offerings for the 2025-6 school year were:

  • PSYC 121 (Drugs and Behavior)
  • SOC 100 (Introduction to Sociology)
  • CRJ 101 (Introduction to Criminal Justice)
  • KIN 162 (Nutrition and Performance)
  • KIN 270 (Women and Sport)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Students are allowed to take up to 6 units. (Some schools only permit 1 class per semester.) 
  • Typically, dual enrollment is reserved for high school juniors and seniors who have 2.5 or higher high school GPAs.  
  • Grades earned through the dual enrollment program are included in the student's academic record.
  • Credits earned may be applied to degree programs at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ or may be transferred to other colleges and universities;  general education credit (if any) is transferable to California Community Colleges or California State Universities
  • Grades in many of our dual enrollment classes are ABC/NC.
