Personal tutors

Your personal tutor is a key part of your support. You’ll be assigned an expert who will work with you to help identify and address any problems and make the most of your learning opportunities.

Personal tutors are usually doctors (for medical students), or relevant allied health professionals (for Cardiac Physiology, Audiology, Radiology and Medical Ultrasound students); academic staff who are assigned to support you during your undergraduate journey.

They’ll provide you with academic and pastoral support should you require it, or alternatively, refer you to a person or service better placed to help you. The advice offered by personal tutors may be specific to your course, personal life or your future career.
