Profile

I am a Postgraduate Researcher in Statistical Genetics. In my PhD project I am working on analysing genotypic and phenotypic data acquired from a large multi-ethnic cohort study in Bradford, UK called . My work includes finding the genetic determinants of gestational diabetes in combination with environmental effects and describing the population structure of the cohort.

I hold a degree in Statistics and Actuarial Statistics and an MSc in Applied Statistics with a focus on Biostatistics. Previous to my role in 绿帽换妻, I worked as an intern in Statistics/Data Science in a startup building personalised recommendations models and analysing the credit risk in an insurance company.

Research interests

I am interested in the intersection of statistics, data science and statistical genetics. My work now is specialised in genome-wide association studies (GWAS), population genomics, relatedness analysis
