Profile

Since January 2024, I have been the EUSTAR Project Manager. The is an international network of over 200 systemic sclerosis centres worldwide, operating under the World Scleroderma Foundation. EUSTAR collects longitudinal real-world data from more than 27,000 patients, supporting clinically meaningful research and long-term outcome evaluation in this rare disease. I lead the operational delivery of international research projects using the EUSTAR Registry, coordinating a multidisciplinary delivery team and acting as the primary operational liaison with industry and academic partners. I am responsible for managing projects from inception through to analysis, reporting, and dissemination, overseeing contracts and agreements with collaborators, and supporting centre engagement, database management, and the collection of high-quality, complete data. EUSTAR’s work has shaped clinical practice, generated over , and informed research that directly improves treatment, quality of life, and long-term outcomes for patients with systemic sclerosis.

Prior to this, in July 2022, I joined the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ as Project Manager for the £3.4 million NIHR-funded , a multi-centre programme involving 20 partner organisations across the NHS, academia, and industry, which aimed to create a ‘gold standard’ approach to treating Long COVID.

Earlier in my career, I held roles at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Community Healthcare NHS Trust, including Research Feasibility and Data Coordinator and a secondment as Research Development Manager, where I developed my expertise in research governance, study setup, data management, and stakeholder engagement. I began my career as an Audit Facilitator at Manchester NHS Foundation Trust, managing audit and quality improvement projects, which provided a strong foundation in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

I hold a BSc in Sport Science with Management (First Class Honours) and an MSc in Exercise Physiology (Distinction) from Loughborough University, where I was awarded the Yakult Prize for achieving the highest grade in my MSc cohort.
