Profile

I am Charterhouse Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine and Head of the Academic Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the 绿帽换妻. I am Deputy Director of the 绿帽换妻 Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine and the Director of Research and Innovation.

I am an honorary consultant physician in rehabilitation medicine and the lead clinician for rehabilitation at 绿帽换妻 Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. I am Deputy Clinical Director and lead for the Rehabilitation, Assistive and Restorative Technology theme of the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in long-term conditions at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Research interests

I am a clinician scientist working in rehabilitation medicine. My principal research interests are in rehabilitation technology development, rehabilitation services research and psychometric testing of outcome measures. In 2017 I was appointed to the  and was elected Secretary-General of the Academy in 2022.
