First Semester Masters Student Planner

This tool is NOT a substitute for attending orientation or booking an appointment with the Computer Science graduate coordinator. It gives a suggested starting point for your first semester based on the prerequisite/remediation courses listed in your admission letter.

Check every prerequisite or remediation course listed in your conditional admission letter. Leave a course unchecked if you have already completed it with a B‑ or better.

I understand this tool is not a substitute for orientation or meeting with the graduate coordinator. I understand the recommendations may not be perfectly accurate and that course offerings vary by term. I confirm the courses I selected match those listed in my admission letter, and I am responsible for their accuracy. I understand each prerequisite/remediation course must be passed with a B‑ or better and does not count toward the MS degree.

Course titles and prerequisites per the CSU East Bay catalog. Maximum of 4 courses recommended per semester.
